Callous and Corns

Callous and corns  are caused by pressure ,usually where weight bearing is focused and also by friction against the skin and shoes.
Callous are a thickening of the skin and corns are a hardening of those callouses.
İf left untreated they can develop into painful ulcerations or infections.
The hardened skin can become very dry and crack (fissure) which in turn can be painful and become infected.

Callous and corns can be removed by a Podiatrist painlessly and without causing any damage to surrounding tissue
